Minerva Power withdraws the 104.3 MW Luciérnaga PV plant, freeing its access at Lucero 220 kV
Spain's Directorate-General for Energy Policy and Mines accepts Minerva Power's withdrawal and closes file PFot-769 for the 104.3 MW Luciérnaga solar plant and its evacuation infrastructure in Toledo province and the Madrid region. The developer gives up the prior and construction authorisations it had held since April 2025 because reports from the Carranque and Villaviciosa de Odón councils make it impossible to build the evacuation route as authorised. The project had held grid access at Red Eléctrica's Lucero 220 kV substation since March 2021 and has asked for its guarantees back, so the capacity it held at that node is back in play.
