Naturgy to invest €330 million repowering six wind farms and adding 94 MWh of batteries

Naturgy will invest €330 million repowering six wind farms totalling 207 MW: Los Llanos (Málaga), Trucafort (Tarragona), Nerea (Zamora), Uzkita (Navarra), El Pilar (Zaragoza) and Los Pedreros (Albacete). The 274 existing turbines will be replaced by 40 machines, keeping installed capacity and raising output by 75%, and the projects add battery storage of 26 MW and 94 MWh with up to four hours of duration. The works were awarded €68 million from IDAE's second call for wind repowering investment aid.
