Navalmoral de la Mata tenders EUR 6.24 million of municipal solar and an energy community

The council of Navalmoral de la Mata (Cáceres) has tendered a sixteen-year mixed contract combining electricity supply, solar installations on ten public buildings and a full renewal of municipal street lighting, according to pv magazine España. The tender is worth EUR 6.24 million with no European funding and sets a minimum of 399.91 kWp with an expected 538 MWh a year, alongside the creation of an energy community. It is a route in for installers and retailers in a mid-sized Extremaduran municipality.
