Nexwell wins the first authorisation to hybridise a Córdoba solar plant with batteries

Nexwell Power has obtained authorisation to add more than 100 MWh of battery storage to its «Silverio» solar plant in the province of Córdoba, which Energy News reports will be the first Córdoba solar plant authorised to operate as a hybrid installation. The company expects to connect the system to the grid in the first half of 2027 and presents the project as the first of a storage portfolio approaching 1 GWh in its initial phase.
