Eight battery storage projects out for consultation in Los Realejos (Tenerife)

The Canary Islands directorate-general for energy has opened public consultation on eight applications for administrative authorisation of battery storage installations in Los Realejos, all with four hours of duration: BESS Capella V (9.2 MW), Capella VI, VII and VIII (4.6 MW each) and Polaris II, Polaris IV, Polaris IX and Sirius V (2 MW each), files SE24/024 to SE24/032. The Capella V notice describes a grouping that evacuates through a buried 20 kV line to the Los Realejos substation and allows thirty (30) days from publication to inspect the project and object.
