Red Eléctrica curtails exports from a 10 MW solar plant in Tejeda de Tiétar (Cáceres)
A 10 MW remote self-consumption solar plant at Tejeda de Tiétar has been hit by export curtailment since mid-May 2026 and produced 86.1% less in July than in July 2025, Energy News reports — in the month of the highest solar generation recorded in Spain to that date. Red Eléctrica attributes the limits to technical network reasons, voltage control and congestion, and puts July's non-integrable renewable output at 9.5%; Ekiluz, Repsol's supplier, says the restrictions are not a temporary measure. One of those affected has had a complaint open at the CNMC since the summer.
