Second green hydrogen plant authorised in Granja de Moreruela (Zamora), backed by solar

Castilla y León has granted environmental authorisation to a green hydrogen plant fed by renewables in Granja de Moreruela (Zamora). Per pv magazine España this is «Moreruela I», a 40 MW electrolysis plant authorised a day after its twin and part of the same project package, within an energy complex fed by 100 MW of photovoltaics. What matters to a developer is that solar half: industrial demand placed next to the generation rather than on the grid.
