No ordinary environmental assessment for the Cartujos II solar-plus-storage hybridisation in Zaragoza

Aragón's environmental agency (INAGA) has decided not to submit the Cartujos II solar-plus-storage hybridisation project, promoted by Planta Solar OPDE 15 in the municipality of Zaragoza, to a full environmental impact assessment, and has issued its screening report (file INAGA 500306/01M/2025/00722). The resolution is dated 26 August and was published in the BOA on 14 September. Staying out of the ordinary route spares the developer the impact study and the public consultation that goes with it, so the project continues under the simplified procedure.
