Tragsa has commissioned a self-consumption solar plant at the Vélez-Málaga wastewater treatment works, in the Huertas Bajas area, with 444.08 kWp installed and 400 kW nominal at the inverters, according to pv magazine España. It spreads 793 modules of 560 Wp across four zones over 3,770 square metres, with a budget of 625,763 euros funded by Spain's recovery plan. The plant belongs to the Costa del Sol-Axarquía municipalities association and is operated by Axaragua: self-consumption at treatment works is becoming a steady niche for installers.
