Public-interest status granted to the El Gilo solar plant, in Villafranca del Campo (Teruel)

Aragon's Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment has declared the El Gilo solar plant and its evacuation infrastructure to be of public interest, in the municipality of Villafranca del Campo (Teruel), developed by Desarrollos del Guepardo (Orden ECE/1467/2026). A declaration of public interest is the step that enables occupation of the land affected by the plant and its line, so the file moves into its expropriation phase.
