Public-utility status for the 132 kV line rebuild serving the Virgen de las Angustias PV plant (Padul)

The Granada territorial delegation has declared of public utility the rebuild of the 132 kV Fargue-Valcaire / Órgiva-Valcaire overhead line and the new T1 tower where the underground evacuation line of the Virgen de las Angustias solar plant will connect, in the municipality of Padul. The project, promoted by E-Distribución Redes Digitales, had already held prior and construction authorisation since October 2024 (file E-7977). A public-utility declaration is the step that opens the way to expropriating the affected land and rights, which usually sets the real timetable of an evacuation route.
