Public-interest status for the Anoia i Segarra II wind farm (29.9 MW), Lleida and Barcelona

Catalonia's directorate-general for energy has granted Desarrollos Eólicos Anoia y Segarra II public-interest status for the 29.9 MW Anoia i Segarra II wind farm on non-developable land, together with its evacuation infrastructure, in Ivorra and Estaràs (La Segarra, Lleida) and Castellfollit de Riubregós and Pujalt (L'Anoia, Barcelona). Public-interest status enables compulsory purchase and the imposition of wayleave easements over the affected land and rights, the step that clears the way to construction.
